Endometriosis is defined as the presence of ectopic endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. It is a benign condition commonly observed in women of the reproductive age group. It can occur in both pelvic and extra-pelvic sites.

An unusual cause of orthopnoea-hashimoto's thyroiditis presenting as bilateral diaphragmatic palsy.

We report a case of 36 yr old male without any comorbidities, who presented with a history of gradually progressive dyspnoea and orthopnoea for 6 months. Physical examination revealed bradycardia, paradoxical respiration suggestive of bilateral diaphragmatic palsy. Fluoroscopy demonstrated the presence of bilateral diaphragmatic paralysis.

Pulmonary alveolar hemorrhage following thrombolytic therapy.

We report a case of a 58-year-old male without any comorbidities who was thrombolysed with streptokinase for acute anterior wall myocardial infarction and developed massive hemoptysis with dyspnea and imaging features showing bilateral alveolar infiltrates. He was diagnosed with pulmonary alveolar hemorrhage and treated conservatively. His condition improved, and follow-up imaging showed resolution.

Kozhikode criteria for diagnosing systemic lupus erythematosus as a hematological disorder.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease in which cells and tissues undergo damage mediated by tissue-binding autoantibodies. At its onset, it may involve one organ alone or more than one organ simultaneously; over a time, additional manifestations due to the involvement of other organs may occur. Our observations have confirmed that hematological manifestations are the commonest initial presentation in SLE.

Osteoarticular tuberculosis-a three years' retrospective study.

A Hydatid Cyst of the Appendix which Mimicked a Tubo-ovarian Mass: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Hydatid disease, an endemic in the cattle grazing areas, particularly in the Asian region, is a parasitic infection which is caused by the cestode tapeworm, Echinoccocus granulosus. There is involvement of the intra-abdominal organs apart from the liver, in 10-15% of the cases. We are reporting a case, wherein the appendix was involved with this parasitosis and we have discussed the review of the literature regarding the diagnostic, surgical and the newer percutaneous approaches for the management of this disease.

Polymorphous low-grade adenocarcinoma of parotid gland: a rare occurrence.

Polymorphous low-grade adenocarcinoma (PLGA) is a rare salivary gland malignant tumor of low aggressiveness, commonly occurring in minor salivary glands. Its occurrence in major salivary gland has been documented albeit rarely. The striking histological feature is architectural diversity combined with benign cytologic features.
