Objectives: To analyze the difference in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) disability costs subsidized by the Mexican Social Security Institute for employees with normoglycemia and normotension (n = 547 488) from the 2016 to 2018 National Census of Workers with T2DM registered with the Mexican Social Security Institute.

A nutritional intervention promotes the loss of body and visceral fat while maintaining muscle mass in breast cancer patients. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) and their characteristics can be potential biomarkers of disease. Here, we explore the changes in the Zeta potential of EVs; the content of miRNA-30, miRNA-145, and miRNA-155; and their association with body composition and biomarkers of metabolic risk in breast cancer patients, before and 6 months after a nutritional intervention.

Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a disease with an impact on the patient's quality of life (QoL). Several tools have been designed to assess the clinical severity of the disease, such as the Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI), while specific instruments have been created to assess QoL, such as the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) and the Quality of Life Index for Atopic Dermatitis (QoLIAD).
