Designing effective and preferred teaching practices for undergraduate students are common goals in behavior analytic training programs. A preliminary study by Nava et al. (2019) showed that undergraduate students generally rated peer-generated examples of the principles of behavior analysis as more preferred, relatable, and culturally responsive than traditional textbook examples.

Accordingly, we previously reported pervasive NAD+ dysregulation in Multiple Myeloma (MM) cells in association with upregulated NAMPT expression. Unfortunately, albeit being effective in preclinical models of cancer, NAMPT inhibition has proven ineffective in clinical trials due to the existence of alternative NAD+ production routes utilizing NAD+ precursors other than nicotinamide.

CHIP has also been reported in Multiple Myeloma (MM) patients, but its biological relevance remains to be elucidated.

Methods: A literature review was conducted across eight databases to compile information on FNAC-diagnosed PBL cases without restricting the site of involvement.
Results: The literature review included 23 PBL, with 13 (56.

Objective: This study aimed to explore coping strategies adopted by patients diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and investigate the reasons for delayed healthcare-seeking help STUDY DESIGN: Data were collected through semi-structured interviews based on the Semi-Structured Self-Regulatory Model (SRM) with participants diagnosed with advanced OSCC, between 2021 and 2023. The sample size was determined based on the saturation point. In this context, saturation refers to the point when no new issues emerge, signaling sufficient sample size.

Different mixing ratios (25%, 35%, and 45%) and contact times (2 h and 72 h) were evaluated. The findings revealed that anaerobic sludge responded more effectively to alkaline treatment, achieving better removal rates of antibiotics, ARB, and ARGs compared to aerobic sludge.

Pesticides has transformed the agricultural industry, primarily by enhancing productivity. However, the indiscriminate use of such compounds can adversely affect human health and disrupt ecosystem balance. Limited knowledge exists regarding the removal of these compounds from water, particularly for organophosphate pesticides when employing conventional treatment technologies.

Methods: Demographic data, clinical presentation, histopathological and immunohistochemical features from 26 cases of PAC were analyzed and discussed in detail.
Results: Most patients were females (n = 21), with a ratio of 1:4.
Background And Objectives: Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global public health threat that results from misuse and overuse of antimicrobials. The Department of Health (DOH) institutionalized the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Program in hospitals, based on the core elements to ensure rational use of antimicrobials and improve patient outcomes. The program implementation will require the involvement of the AMS clinical pharmacist to positively influence the success of the program's implementation.

This study aimed to systematically review the literature on the long-term longitudinal effects of alcohol consumption on anxiety in adults.
Methods: EMBASE, PsychInfo, Medline, and Web of Science databases were systematically searched from inception to April 12th, 2024.
Background: Arsenic (As) is a risk factor associated with glycemic alterations. However, the mechanisms of action and metabolic aspects associated with changes in glycemic profiles have not yet been completely elucidated. Therefore, in this review, we aimed to investigate the metabolic aspects of As and its mechanism of action associated with glycemic changes.

However, little is known about the psychological states surrounding the outbreak of war, particularly the mental well-being of individuals outside Ukraine. Here, we present a longitudinal experience-sampling study of a convenience sample from 17 European countries (total participants = 1,341, total assessments = 44,894, countries with >100 participants = 5) that allows us to track well-being levels across countries during the weeks surrounding the outbreak of war.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 224 individuals followed-up at a public hospital in Northeast Brazil. We used National Cholesterol Education Program-Adult Treatment Panel III (NCEP) criteria to diagnose MetS.
Aim: To identify current perceptions of aducanumab among patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and their caregivers.
Methods: A total of 352 caregivers of AD patients seen at Hawaii's largest multidisciplinary neuroscience center between January 01, 2019, and June 21, 2021, were surveyed by telephone to understand patient and caregiver knowledge, familiarity, and hesitancy toward aducanumab.
Results: Thirty-seven percent of caregivers were familiar with aducanumab.
Purpose: In the context of COVID-19, studies evaluating the adherence of dentists and dental students to infection control are relevant due to their high occupational exposure and risk, as well as their responsibility for disseminating information and good practices. This study evaluated the adherence of dentists and dental students to infection control in the oral radiology field in the setting of the COVID-19 pandemic on different continents.
Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional observational study involved individuals who performed intraoral radiographic examinations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tebuconazole is a triazole fungicide widely used in agricultural crops for control of multiple fungal, mainly foliar and soil-borne diseases. Due to its intense use, this pesticide has been detected on aquatic matrices in different countries, which makes it necessary to identify metabolites capable to be used in its exposure monitoring. The aim of this work was to evaluate tebuconazole metabolites in zebrafish water tanks using liquid chromatography coupled to a high-resolution mass spectrometer (LCHRMS) to highlight analytical targets to monitor tebuconazole exposure in aquatic environments.

In this systematic review, we reviewed randomized control clinical trials to verify whether vitamin D supplementation (VDS) at different doses is effective concomitantly in controlling high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c), triglycerides (TG), fasting glucose level, blood pressure, and central obesity in adults diagnosed with MetS. The following scientific databases were searched from 1998 until April 2023: EMBASE, MEDLINE (PubMed), Web of Science, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (Lilacs), the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, clinicaltrial.
