Lakoochins A and B, new antimycobacterial stilbene derivatives from Artocarpus lakoocha.

Two new stilbene derivatives, lakoochins A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the roots of Artocarpus lakoocha. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated by analysis of their spectral data. Lakoochins A (1) and B (2) exhibited antimycobacterial activity with the respective MIC values of 12.
