Diabetic Nephropathy is one of the major microvascular complications of Diabetes Mellitus, which can be detected in the earlier stage by investigating urinary microalbumin excretion levels and estimating ACR and GFR. Early treatment can delay or prevent the progression of diabetic Nephropathy. Monoherbal Siddha formulation Sirupeelai Kudineer indicated for the complications of Diabetes Mellitus is selected for this Case study.

Carrageenan (Carr), obtained from seaweed (Rhodophyceae), a sulphated polysaccharide extracted from a species of red algae (), is a reversible gel mostly used in eye-drop preparation due to its hydrocolloid nature. But Carr-induced inflammation causing oxidative stress in animals has not yet been evaluated.

Purpose: The current study aimed to assess the dental caries risk among age groups 5-6 and 35-44 using self-assessment caries risk mobile application CaRisk and compare it with the deft and DMFT values.
Cloud services are one of the most quickly developing technologies. Furthermore, load balancing is recognized as a fundamental challenge for achieving energy efficiency. The primary function of load balancing is to deliver optimal services by releasing the load over multiple resources.

It is hypothesized that insects maximize the survival and fitness of the subsequent generations by preferring specific host plant(s), known as the "preference-performance hypothesis." In this study, we tested whether adult host preference reflects the immature performance in an oligophagous insect, Phthorimaea absoluta Meyrick, a rapidly emerging invasive pest in Asia, Africa, and Europe.

: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a significant health problem worldwide with an estimated prevalence of 5-12% in the general population. Osteitis refers to inflammation of bone characterized by bone remodeling, neo-osteogenesis and thickening of adjacent mucosa. These changes are evidenced by specific radiological appearance on Computerized Tomography (CT) which may be localized or diffuse dependent on extent of disease.

Purpose: Dry eye is a common condition affecting people worldwide. It causes ocular discomfort by reducing the quality of vision and impacts daily activities. To overcome such ocular discomfort, artificial tears are used but it is difficult to use artificial tears every time to protect eyes from dryness.

Background: Animal models for drug discovery and development in Parkinson 's disease have played an important role in the characterization of the pathophysiology of diseases and associated mechanisms of injury, drug target identification, and evaluation of novel therapeutic agents for toxicity/ safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and efficacy.
Objective: The review is intended to reform the scope, advantages, and limitations of various Parkinson's Disease models and their scope in translational research. The lack of a gold standard for PD animal models presents a major challenge in devising a validation system.
The gut-brain axis directly regulates the brain homeostatic environment; an imbalance in gut microbial composition following ethanol exposure is maleficent. In this context, involvement of probiotics as prophylactic intervention against ethanol-induced neurotoxicity is elusive in the literature. Therefore, the present study was aimed to determine the impact of chronic ethanol exposure on the neurobehavioral response of zebrafish and possible neuroprotection through co-supplementation of probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG).

Because, the inappropriate use of antibiotics in livestock animals for the growth promotion and prophylactic purpose has already generated significant challenges. The livestock farms which harbor and disseminate drug resistant microorganisms have already been identified as potential source of resistance genes acquired by the sensitive strains.

The study focuses on reduction of treatment time without compromise in plan quality using TomoEDGE. It is a mode in HT that uses a dynamic opening of the jaws during treatment delivery to reduce the dose penumbra which otherwise is not possible with fixed jaws option.

Human exposure to environmental chemicals is a major contributor to the global disease burden. To characterize the external exposome it is important to assess its chemical components and to study their impact on human health. Biomonitoring studies measure the body burden of environmental chemicals detected in biospecimens from a wide range of the population.

The literature on the role of BPA in inducing altered neurobehavioral response and brain morphology and plausible neuroprotective role of taurine against BPA induced oxidative stress mediated neurotoxicity is limited. Therefore, the present experimental paradigm was set for 21 days to expound the neuroprotective efficacy of taurine against BPA-induced neurotoxicity in zebrafish (Danio rerio) following waterborne exposure.

During the passage of the virus through affected populations, it has undergone mutations, some of which have recently been linked with increased viral load and prognostic complexities. Several of these variants are point mutations that are difficult to diagnose using the gold standard quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) method and necessitates widespread sequencing which is expensive, has long turn-around times, and requires high viral load for calling mutations accurately.
