Endodontically treated teeth with compromised coronal tooth structure often require core build-ups with the support of radicular posts. In certain cases, the traditional post and core approach may not be possible due to various anatomical and clinical contraindications. Such cases require more meticulous planning and alternative treatment approaches for successful outcomes.

In the setting of trauma, occurrence of intracapsular lipo-hemarthrosis is not uncommon, highly useful and well known imaging finding. Occurrence of extracapsular lipohaemarthrosis is uncommon and have been noticed around the large joints like knee, hip, and shoulder joints. Extracapsular lipohaemarthrosis is rare especially around small joints like wrist joint.

Methods And Materials: The agar diffusion method was used to evaluate the antibacterial properties of pulp-capping agents. The materials used included Bio-C® Temp (Angelus, Brazil), Dia-Root™ Bio mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) (Diadent Europe B.
Intact capsids of foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) play a vital role in eliciting a protective immune response. Any change in the physico-chemical environment of the capsids results in dissociation and poor immunogenicity. Structural bioinfomatics studies have been carried out to predict the amino acids at the interpentameric region that resulted in the identification of mutant virus-like particles(VLPs) of FMDV serotype Asia1/IND/63/1972.

This paper primarily focuses on the derivation of fractal numerical integration for the data sets corresponding to two variable signals defined over a rectangular region. Evaluating numerical integration results through the fractal method helps achieve accurate results with minimum computation effort. The formulation of the fractal numerical integration is achieved by considering the recursive relation satisfied by the bivariate fractal interpolation functions for the given data set.

Aim: This examination looked to evaluate the clinical and histological effectuality of Biodentine with Dycal for DPC.
Materials And Methodology: In this study, 30 intact human orthodontic teeth undergoing therapeutic extraction were chosen to perform DPC.
Aims: To compare antigen extraction efficiency of chemical methods such as benzyl alcohol, chloroform, sodium citrate, extraction buffer with Tween-20 (EBT) and isopropyl myristate for determination of 146S content in the fresh and stored FMD oil-adjuvanted vaccines.
Methods And Results: Standard vaccine with antigen payload of 10, 5 and 5 µg per cattle dose (2 ml) for serotypes O, A and Asia1, respectively, was used to compare the antigen extraction efficiency of five chemical methods: benzyl alcohol, chloroform, sodium citrate, EBT buffer and isopropyl myristate. The purity of the extracted 146S antigen was quantified by caesium chloride (CsCl) ultracentrifugation.
Purpose: The present study was carried out to prospectively determine the incidence and severity of suprathreshold taste changes after surgical removal of mandibular third molars.
Materials And Methods: Sixty patients who required removal of impacted third molars were included in the study. Based on the Winter criteria of angulation of impacted mandibular third molars, 15 patients each with mesioangular, distoangular, horizontal, and vertical impacted third molars were selected.
An innocuously appearing gingival mass in the maxilla revealed extensive osteolysis on radiographic examination. A rare clinical presentation of synovial sarcoma, appropriate diagnostic strategies and suitable treatment protocol in a 21-year-old male is reported herewith. It is only the third case of primary monophasic synovial sarcoma of the maxilla to be reported to the best of our knowledge and the first to have occurred in a male patient.

These processes require a controlled degradation of the extracellular matrix. Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) are known to be important regulators of matrix lysis and play a significant role in the metastasis of malignancies.

A 35-year-old man was endodontically treated for radiolucency in relation to the roots of maxillary central incisors as it was a provisionally diagnosed case of radicular cyst. Since the palatal swelling persisted, the lesion was re-evaluated using relevant diagnostic aids and a diagnosis of nasopalatine duct cyst (NPDC) was made, which was missed during the initial assessment.

From time immemorial Vitis vinifera (Black grapes) have been used both for medicinal and nourishment purposes. The aim of this study is to investigate the protective effect of Black grapes against lead nitrate induced oxidative stress. Exposure to lead significantly increased malondialdehyde levels with a significant decrease in superoxide dismutase and catalase activities, and the concentration of GSH in the liver and kidneys of rats.

The importance of delineating this histologic variant from unicystic ameloblastoma and the formation of cholesterol granuloma in this variant is discussed.
Background: Calcifying odontogenic cyst is a developmental jaw cyst, which presents itself as both the neoplastic and the non-neoplastic forms.
Fipronil is a phenylpyrazole family insecticide which mainly affects the nervous system of insects. In the present study, the in vitro acaricidal effects of the compound against the widely prevalent multihost tick, Haemaphysalis bispinosa was assessed. The lowest concentration at which complete adult tick mortality was observed was at 25 ppm while complete absence of egg mass observed at 10 ppm.

However, it is also thought that the parasite, at least some strains of it, can cause fatal disease. The present communication deals with the clinical signs, postmortem lesions and diagnosis of a fatal disease due to T.

This phenomenon has been attributed to a multitude of factors, one of which is altered monocyte function. To examine the role played by monocytes in filarial infection, we assessed the responses of monocytes obtained from normal and filarial parasite-infected individuals to both crude filarial antigen and purified recombinant filarial antigen WbSXP-1 and attempted to relate these to the altered lymphoproliferative responses seen in filarial infection.
