Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis (XGC) is a rare benign chronic inflammatory disease of the gallbladder that often presents as cholecystitis and can mimic gallbladder carcinoma. Distinguishing XGC from gallbladder cancer preoperatively is challenging. We present a case of a 62-year-old male who presented with features of carcinoma gallbladder in the CECT abdomen and MRCP.

Low serum calcium level, high alkaline phosphatase, high parathyroid hormone, and high values of 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D are characteristic biochemical findings. We are reporting a rare case of Vitamin D Dependent Rickets and subsequent improvement after addition of cinacalcet.

Non-critical coronavirus disease 2019 patients often lack follow up visits which has led to incomplete understanding of disease process. The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of persistent symptoms in such patients during two months follow-up to a district hospital.
