Depression is a common mental condition causing depressed mood and loss of pleasure. The primary treatment approach for the management of depression consists of the use of selegiline (MAO-B) inhibitor compound. The present work aimed to develop and optimize selegiline-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers for transdermal application, utilizing a 2 full factorial design approach.

Should Liquid-Based Cytology (LBC) be Preferred than Conventional Pap Smear (CPS): A Comparative Analysis.

Objectives: To study the cytomorphological differences of both techniques and to study the relative advantages and limitations of both techniques.

This study presents Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) strain characterization (period 2009-2020) from 18 states of India. For that, blood and stool samples (n ​= ​280) were screened for HAV RNA and sequences for 5'non-coding and VP3 regions were generated from positive samples (n ​= ​68).

Background: : Fetal autopsy has been an indispensable tool in evaluating the cause of death. The most common cause for fetal deaths is associated with respiratory disorders accounting for around 60%. This study was undertaken to evaluate the gross and microscopic features of lungs in fetal autopsies and estimate the incidence of deaths attributable to pulmonary causes.

Management of fourth degree obstetric perineal tear without colostomy using non - stimulated gracilis - our experience over eleven years.

Background: Although gracilis muscle transposition for faecal incontinence has been well-described method, its literature for use in obstetric perineal tear without colostomy is sparse. In this study, we have tried to analyse its use in fourth-degree obstetric perineal tears.

Patients And Methods: A total of 30 patients with recto-vaginal fistula with faecal incontinence secondary to obstetric perineal tear were retrospectively studied between February 2003 and May 2014.

Context: Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) is a biocompatible repair material that is often used along with glass ionomer cement (GIC) in many clinical situations.

Aims: In this study, the interface of GIC and MTA was examined, and the effect of time on this interface was tested.

Materials And Methods: Forty 9-mm hollow cylindrical glass molds were filled with MTA and then according to the group either conventional GIC or resin-modified GIC (RMGIC) is filled immediately or after 45 min.

Paraoxonase Activity and Lipid Profile in Paediatric Nephrotic Syndrome: A Cross-sectional Study.

Introduction: Dyslipidaemia of Nephrotic Syndrome (NS) is known to be linked to oxidative reactions and atherosclerosis. Paraoxonase (PON1) has been implicated in the prevention of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) lipid peroxidation and also degrades biologically active oxidised lipids in lipoprotein.

Aim: The present study was taken up to assess PON1 levels in paediatric nephrotic syndrome and also to see if any correlation exists between lipid parameters and PON1.
