The endogenous peptides from peanut hairy root culture were induced upon elicitor treatment with chitosan (CHT), methyl jasmonate (MeJA), and cyclodextrin (CD): CHT+MeJA+CD. The peptides secreted into the liquid culture medium play an important role in plant signaling and stress responses.
