We describe a general formalism for quantum dynamics and show how this formalism subsumes several quantum algorithms, including the Deutsch, Deutsch-Jozsa, Bernstein-Vazirani, Simon, and Shor algorithms as well as the conventional approach to quantum dynamics based on tensor networks. The common framework exposes similarities among quantum algorithms and natural quantum phenomena: we illustrate this connection by showing how the correlated behavior of protons in water wire systems that are common in many biological and materials systems parallels the structure of Shor's algorithm.

Among pesticides, atrazine, a widely used herbicide in many crops, was analyzed for its kinetics and sorption behavior through the addition of FYM and VC in sandy loam soil. Purpose: To evaluate the accuracy in the femoral and tibial tunnel placement after the use of fluoroscopy along with an indigenously designed grid method to assist in arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction as compared with the tunnel placement without using them and to validate the findings with computed tomography scan performed postoperatively along with assessing the functional outcome at a minimum of 3 years of follow-up.
Methods: This was a prospective study conducted on patients who underwent primary anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Patients were included and segregated into a nonfluoroscopy (group B) and a fluoroscopy group (group A), and both had postoperative computed tomography scans so that femoral and tibial tunnel position could be evaluated.
Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) programs that train on large datasets require powerful compute infrastructure consisting of several CPU cores and GPUs. JupyterLab provides an excellent framework for developing AI programs, but it needs to be hosted on such an infrastructure to enable faster training of AI programs using parallel computing.
Findings: An open-source, docker-based, and GPU-enabled JupyterLab infrastructure is developed that runs on the public compute infrastructure of Galaxy Europe consisting of thousands of CPU cores, many GPUs, and several petabytes of storage to rapidly prototype and develop end-to-end AI projects.
Introduction And Importance: Kirschner wires (K-wires) are commonly used implants in the treatment of bony fracture. The migration of K-wire has been reported in the literature, but such migration into the urinary bladder is extremely rare.
Presentation Of Case: We report a case of an asymptomatic patient with a migrating K-wire in the urinary bladder, who came to our follow-up clinic after treatment of a hip fracture.
Objective: To compare first attempt success rate for ultrasound-guided (USG) versus direct palpation (DP) for radial, femoral, and dorsalis pedis artery cannulations in adult intensive care unit (ICU) patients.
Design: Prospective randomized clinical trial.
Setting: Mixed adult ICU of a University Hospital.
Purpose: Enlightening the changes in the usual clinical practices, working environment, and social life of Intensivists working in noncoronavirus disease intensive care units (non-COVID ICU) during the COVID pandemic.
Materials And Methods: Observational cross-sectional study for Indian intensivists working in non-COVID ICUs conducted between July and September 2021. A 16-question online survey consisting of the work and social profile of the participating intensivists, changes in the usual clinical practices, working environment, and impact on their social life was administered.
