Two-Dimensional Non-Carbon Materials-Based Electrochemical Printed Sensors: An Updated Review.

Recently, there has been increasing interest in electrochemical printed sensors for a wide range of applications such as biomedical, pharmaceutical, food safety, and environmental fields. A major challenge is to obtain selective, sensitive, and reliable sensing platforms that can meet the stringent performance requirements of these application areas. Two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials advances have accelerated the performance of electrochemical sensors towards more practical approaches.

Introduction: Identifying peripheral arterial disease (PAD) during diabetic foot screening (DFS) is crucial in reducing the risk of diabetic foot ulcerations and lower limb amputations. Screening assessments commonly used include absolute systolic toe pressure (ASTP) and toe-brachial index (TBI). There is a lack of research defining the threshold values of both assessment methods.

A lead(II) ion selective electrode via a metal complex of poly(hydroxamic acid).

A new lead(II) electrode has been constructed with poly(hydroxamic acid) (PHXA) as the active material and silicone rubber as the supporting material. The electrode gave near Nerstian response over the concentration range 4 x 10(-5)-1 x 10(-2)M lead(II). The detection limit of the electrode is approximately 4 x 10(-6)M and the electrode works well in the pH range 4.

Cytomegalovirus infection in Penang: a serological survey.

During 1984-1985, a total of 838 sera obtained from individuals of different age groups, mostly blood donors and those whose sera were received for VDRL tests and other serological investigations.
