Primary Renal Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor/Ewing's Sarcoma Imaging and Pathologic Findings of a Patient with a Nine Year, Eight Month Disease Free Period: Case Report and Review of Literature.

Introduction: Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET)/Ewing's sarcoma (EWS) belongs to a family of neoplasms that are presumed to originate from the neuroectodermal crest. PNET/EWSs are highly aggressive malignancies that usually present in the form of bone or soft tissue masses and usually affect adolescents and young adults. Primary PNET/EWS of the kidney is very rare.

Multiphase computed tomography of malignant kidney tumors: radiologic-pathologic comparison.

The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate diagnostic test parameters of multiphase spiral computed tomography (CT) of the kidneys in the assessment of malignant renal tumors. Fifty-one patient records were reviewed. The imaging protocol included unenhanced and postcontrast scans during arterial and nephrographic phase.

[Antegrade scrotal sclerotherapy for the treatment of varicocele].

Varicocelectomy is the most commonly performed operation for the treatment of male infertility. Varicocele is found in approximately 15% of general male population and in 40% of men with infertility. The treatment of varicocele is not necessary unless the varicocele causes pathological spermiogram, difficulties and intense testicular volume at work and walking, also in children with varicocele grade III.

[Prostate carcinoma patients treated in county hospital Cakovec in past two years].

Prostate carcinoma is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in men of middle and older age. It is second diagnosed malignant tumor among men in USA and in Europe. Hereby, we'd like to show the number of treated patients at our hospital between January 2002 and January 2004.
