This study reports the synthesis and the experimental-theoretical characterization of a new coamorphous system consisting of ethionamide (ETH) and mandelic acid (MND) as a coformer. The solid dispersion was synthesized using the slow solvent evaporation method in an ethanolic medium. The structural, vibrational, and thermal properties of the system were characterized.

Azithromycin ethanol solvate monohydrate [CHNO0.5(CHO)HO], abbreviated by AZM-MH-EtOH, was synthesized by slow evaporation method and investigated by powder X-ray diffraction, Raman and infrared (IR) spectroscopy combined with density functional theory (DFT) studies. Electronic and vibrational properties were properly investigated based on a theoretical study of solvation effects, using implicit solvation and solute electron density models.

In this paper, a series of new mixed Tutton salts with the chemical formula (NH)MnZn(SO)(HO) is reported.
