Optimizing the Construction and Activation of 3D-Printed Electrochemical Sensors: An Experimental Design Approach for Simultaneous Electroanalysis of Paracetamol and Caffeine.

This work presents an optimization of the construction, treatment, and activation of 3D-printed electrochemical sensors (E-3D). For this, was used a 2-full factorial design examining three key variables at two levels: electrode height, electrode diameter, and printing speed. Moreover, it evaluates various physical, chemical, and electrochemical methods to treat and activate the E-3D surface.

Microplastic atmospheric pollution in an urban Southern Brazil region: What can spider webs tell us?

The World Health Organization categorizes air pollution as the presence of one or more contaminants in the atmosphere such as smoke, dust, and particulate matter like microplastics, which are considered a priority pollutant. However, only a few studies have been developed on atmospheric pollution, and knowledge about MPs in the atmosphere is still limited. Spider webs have been tested and used as a passive sampling approach to study anthropogenic pollution.
