Five independent retrospective cohorts of 883 relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) patients, including 300 EloRd and 583 KRd cases, outside clinical trials, entered this non-randomized comparison. KRd cohort accounted for a higher incidence of younger patients, cases with ≥3 lines of therapy, already exposed to lenalidomide, International Staging System (ISS) stage III, and abnormal lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) level compared with EloRd cohort.

Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) expression is present in normal testis with an involvement in the immunological reactions. The role of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α (PPAR-α), a nuclear receptor, in fertility is still unclear.

It may compromise the patients' quality of life, often posing a greater risk than the primary disease itself. Currently, several different therapeutic approaches are available to palliate or cure (single metastasis with primary neoplasm under control - radical surgery) secondary disease.

At breast cancer diagnosis, approximately 5-6% of women present with distant spread with bone, representing the most common site of metastatic lesions. More than half of the women, who present with metastatic breast cancer at the primary diagnosis, will develop bone metastases.

We conducted a study by DDA in 141 melanomas, with the aim assessing whether the numerical variables extrapolated by univariate logistic analysis could be used in a system of multivariate analysis to predict melanoma thickness before surgery. Melanoma images were evaluated for 49 DDA parameters.

This vision became a fact, as the dermatoscope represents nowadays the dermatologist stethoscope. This is not only because dermoscopy reveals a new and fascinating morphologic dimension of pigmented and nonpigmented skin tumors, but also because it improves the recognition of a growing number of skin symptoms in general dermatology.

These data suggest the hypothesis of the existence of a melanoma with less aggressive biological behaviour. This hypothesis is, however, hard to be proven if the assumption is true that more and less aggressive melanomas very often exhibit overlapping clinical and histopathologic features.
