[Emphysematous cystitis: an uncommon cause of abdominal pain].

An 82-year-old woman with a previous medical history of hypertension and hypothyroidism was admitted to the emergency department for abdominal pain, diarrhea, confusion and changes in her overall condition over several days. At the emergency department, the patient was febrile and her blood tests showed elevated C-reactive protein without leukocytosis (8.9 × 10^9/L).
