Introduction: We present a case of ectopic intrathoracic multinodular goiter and correlate the magnetic resonance imaging appearance with the histological findings.
Case Presentation: A 72-year-old man was referred to our institute with a two month history of cough. The chest radiograph showed a mass located in the mediastinum.
Echocardiography represents an invaluable diagnostic tool for the detection of intracardiac masses while simultaneously provides information about their size, location, mobility and attachment site as well as the presence and extent of any consequent hemodynamic derangement. A 29-year-old asymptomatic young woman with incidental transthoracic echocardiographic (TTE) discovery of an aortic valve mass is presented. The 2-dimensional TTE showed a mobile, pedunculated mass, attached by a thin stalk to the aortic surface of the right coronary aortic cusp at the junction of its base with the anterior aortic wall.

Introduction: Primary malignant neoplasms of nerve sheath origin are rare, highly aggressive tumours that account for no more than 5% of all soft tissue sarcomas. In the head and neck where the great majority of peripheral nerve neoplasms are benign, as in the rest of the body, malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours (MPNSTs) are unusual lesions.
Patient: A case of a large MPNST is reported, which originated in the left temporalis muscle of a 74-year-old man who did not suffer from von Recklinghausen's disease.
Adrenocortical oncocytomas are exceptionally rare. To our knowledge, only 23 cases have been reported in the world literature, most of which were benign and nonfunctioning. We report a case of adrenocortical oncocytoma diagnosed by pathological examination of an extirpated right adrenal mass in a young woman.
