Exploring Bleomycin vs. Setrol Injections in Adults.

This retrospective study aimed to assess the efficacy of bleomycin and sodium tetradecyl sulphate (STS) as sclerotherapeutic treatment modalities for low-flow vascular and lymphatic malformations. A total of 30 patients in age group of 9-60 years with vascular and lymphatic anomalies in the head and neck region were included in our study and divided into two groups of 15 each. Patients in group 1 received bleomycin injections, while group 2 received STS for treatment.

Olfaction and Its Correlates in Allergic Rhinitis: A Case Control Study.

Olfactory dysfunction is frequent in rhinological disease. It has been attributed to nasal obstruction leading to impairment of transport of odorants to the olfactory epithelium or to inflammation in the olfactory cleft. We assessed olfaction in allergic rhinitis and correlated the olfactory score with other variables; in order to elucidate the pathogenesis of olfactory impairment in allergic rhinitis.
