This observational study examined the relationships between age, vaccine conspiracy beliefs, and COVID-19 vaccine uptake in emerging adults (ages 20-30) and middle-aged adults (ages 50-60) residing in the United States. It also examined sociodemographic predictors of vaccine conspiracy beliefs and COVID-19 vaccine uptake-political conservativism, household income, and educational attainment. We recruited 198 emerging adults and 198 middle-aged adults to complete an online survey assessing vaccine conspiracy beliefs and COVID-19 vaccination status.

Introduction: Loss of physical activity and pulmonary dysfunction with its associated complications represent two of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality following cardiac surgery. Few studies have investigated the effects of preoperative interventions targeted at improving cardiorespiratory and musculoskeletal function in the postoperative period.

Aim: To evaluate whether a physiotherapy program based on respiratory training with or without musculoskeletal mobilization, started preoperatively, may provide a significant improvement in pulmonary and musculoskeletal recovery postoperatively in patients undergoing elective cardiac surgery.

The reactions of nitric oxide ((.)NO) and alpha-tocopherol (alpha-TH) during membrane lipid oxidation were examined and compared with the pair alpha-TH/ascorbate. Nitric oxide serves as a more potent inhibitor of lipid peroxidation propagation reactions than alpha-TH and protects alpha-TH from oxidation.

Rectal total prolapsus is a cause of a permanent disablement more founded in old women. Many pathogenetic hypotheses are made up to date time, many surgical treatments were proposed for the treatments of this disease: through perineal, abdominal or combined way. The results are different, of course, in a short and a long time, whether in the matter of relapse of the prolapse, or in morbidity in connection to surgical treatment and his sequences.

Leiomyoblastomas are about the 10% of non epithelial gastric neoplasms. They are interesting for clinical, therapeutic and prognostic findings very different in comparison commonest epithelial tumours. The authors, after discussing aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical outline, diagnosis, histological and pathological features as well as therapeutic treatment of these neoplasms, report a case describing diagnostic and therapeutic management.

Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) that are reactive with tumor associated antigens (TAAs) have led to many of the recent advances made in tumor immunology. At the present time, many of these MAbs have already been used in various aspects of patient management and in better understanding the biology of carcinoma cell populations. Because of their diversity, specificity and biological activity, these MAbs are potentially ideal agents for a variety of applications in malignant disorders such as, clinical diagnosis using serum assays, immunocytopathological analyses of effusions or fine-needle aspiration specimens, immunoscintigraphy, radioimmunoguided surgery and, with additional development, site directed immunotherapy.
