Endometriosis is a chronic, inflammatory and estrogen-dependent disease affecting about 10 % of the female  population in fertile ages. There is no cure for endometriosis. The main symptoms include severe menstrual pain, ovulation pain, dyspareunia, dysuria and painful bowel movements.
