Introduction: Poor operative ergonomics can lead to muscle fatigue and injury. However, formal ergonomics education is uncommon in surgical residencies. Our study examines the prevalence of musculoskeletal (MSK) symptoms, baseline ergonomics knowledge, and the impact of an ergonomics workshop in general surgery residents.
