The objective of this review was to provide an overview of the existing knowledge of the benefits of nature-based rehabilitation for patients with impairments after acquired brain injury. Systematic searches were conducted across PubMed, CINAHL, PsycINFO and Scopus, and seven studies were found to be included for review. Results suggest that nature-based rehabilitation may benefit individuals with acquired brain injury, as both motor - and sensory-motor functions, as well as cognitive functions were significantly improved.
