The objective of this study is to determine the perinatal outcome in pregnancies with hydropic fetuses. The study was a retrospective evaluation of data on intrauterine transfusion (IUT) done in hydropic fetuses for correction of severe anemia from December 2017 to August 2021 in AIIMS Jodhpur. The retrospective case series involves five cases that underwent IUT for severe fetal anemia.

Frontline systemic therapies include combination immunotherapy regimens and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. We report a case of a 38-year-old woman with chronic hepatitis B and C coinfection-associated non-cirrhotic HCC, which recurred in the peritoneum after initial resection of her primary tumor.

Although vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 demonstrated efficacy, breakthrough infections became increasingly common. There is still a lack of data regarding the severity and outcomes of COVID-19 among vaccinated compared to unvaccinated individuals.

The thalassemia patients who receive multiple transfusions are at an increased risk of TTIs and the Nucleic Acid Test (NAT ) has been advocated for safe blood. Though NAT can reduce the window period compared to serology, cost is a constraint.

Statins provide primary and secondary ASCVD prevention. Intolerance due to statin-associated myalgias reduces long-term adherence, thus muting potential benefits.

Few data exist comparing timely completion between hypofractionated radiation and traditional radiation at a national level or across racial and socioeconomic cohorts.
Methods: A retrospective review of the National Cancer Database (2012-2016) on patients undergoing breast conservation therapy for early-stage breast cancer, specifically T1 or T2, N0, M0 patients, was performed.
Liver metastases from uveal melanoma carry a very poor prognosis. Hepatic artery infusions with Yttrium-90 (Y) resin microspheres have some activity in this disease, and radiation and immunotherapy may be synergistic. The primary objective of this study was to determine the safety and tolerability of sequential Y resin microspheres and immunotherapy with ipilimumab and nivolumab in metastatic uveal melanoma.

Although continuous epidural analgesia is considered the gold standard for most of these procedures, alternative techniques such as transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block and continuous rectus sheath block have also been used successfully. US-guided TMQLB seems to have more advantages than TAP block as it blocks the visceral afferents.

To date, nervous system demyelination has been relatively infrequently reported in this setting. Also, while most data point toward immune activation as a causative process, few studies propound a direct effect.

Potential long-term sequelae of breast radiation have been addressed by deep inspiration breath-hold (DIBH), prone positioning, and four-dimensional computed tomography (4DCT) average intensity projection (AveIP)-based planning techniques. Dosimetric comparisons to determine the optimal technique to minimize the normal tissue dose for left-sided breast cancers have not been performed.

Association of Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) and CMV is well known but CMV acute myositis is a rare condition. Restriction of movements of limbs due to severe pain in myositis may obscure the diagnosis of GBS and this may easily miss.

Little is known regarding national trends in uptake and factors associated with uptake of HR in the US since the 2011 ASTRO guidelines.
Methods And Materials: We performed a retrospective review of the National Cancer Database (2012-2016) on patients undergoing BCT.
Single ventricle congenital heart defect patients have improved survival with Fontan palliation. However, they remain at risk for nephropathy, as indicated by pathologic microalbuminuria. We sought to investigate whether echocardiographic measures of the inferior vena cava diameter (a surrogate for elevated CVP) indexed to the body surface area (iIVC) or cardiac index (CI) can predict the presence of nephropathy in Fontan patients.
