User acceptance and perception play a crucial role in refining and optimizing the app's features and functionalities. By actively incorporating suggestions and insights from users, the goal is to enhance the overall usability and better cater to the diverse needs of individuals in post-intensive care recovery.

Background: Digital competence is listed as one of the key competences for lifelong learning and is increasing in importance not only in private life but also in professional life. There is consensus within the health care sector that digital competence (or digital literacy) is needed in various professional fields. However, it is still unclear what exactly the digital competence of health professionals should include and how it can be measured.

[Interface Communication and Information Transfer in Medical Care for People with Intellectual Disabilities: Qualitative Expert Interviews].

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the experiences, barriers, and solutions in communication during the provision of care for people with intellectual developmental disabilities in Germany. As there are approximately 350,000 people living with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Germany, who rely on assistance when communicating with healthcare providers, this study was conducted to examine the communication challenges and potential solutions in this population. The analysis especially focused on the potentials of digital applications facilitating information transfer.
