Helicobacter cinaedi bacteremia caused recurring multifocal cellulitis in a patient in France who had chronic lymphocytic leukemia treated with ibrutinib. Diagnosis required extended blood culture incubation and sequencing of the entire 16S ribosomal RNA gene from single bacterial colonies. Clinicians should consider H.

Results: Seventy patients with vasculitis and MDS/CMML were included, with median age of 71.5 [21-90] years and male/female ratio of 2.
Introduction: Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and MDS/myeloproliferative neoplasms (MDS/MPN) can be associated with giant cell arteritis (GCA). In this nationwide study by the "French Network of dysimmune disorders associated with hemopathies" (MINHEMON) the objective was to evaluate characteristics, treatment and outcome of GCA MDS-MDS/MPN.
Patients And Methods: Retrospective analysis of patients that presented a MDS or MDS/MPN associated with GCA.
Background. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial in invasive fungal diseases (IFD). Serum (1-3)-β-d-glucan (BG) is believed to be an early IFD marker, but its diagnostic performance has been ambiguous, with insufficient data regarding sensitivity at the time of IFD diagnosis (TOD) and according to outcome.

Here we present a follow-up of a phase 2 trial with PEG-IFN-α-2a treatment in 43 PV and 40 ET patients with detailed molecular analysis. After a median follow-up of 42 months, complete hematologic response was achieved in 76% of patients with PV and 77% of those with ET.
