[Resource needs of nursing in the operating department].

Operating theatre is one of the most complex units. In this units there is a strong integration between the different figures of the staff; although that there is no analysis focused on the components that should play a role in the determination of the organic, especially of the nursing staff. First of all you have to choose the staff looking to the complexity of the surgery.

[Reception and integration of novice nurses: a study in ICU's in 10 hospitals in Milan].

Goal: this article examined the socialization tactics implemented by the organizational system in intensive care units of ten Hospitals of Milan, in order to help novice nurses to better start their new job.

Design: descriptive.

Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in ten hospitals in Milan.

[Abandonment of nursing courses: a survey regarding the motivations which lead the students to the abandonment of the nursing degree course].

The Authors made a survey regarding the motivations which make the students leave the nursing degree course (NDC). The statistical data regarding the abandonment of university courses in Italy say that a 19/20% of the students leave the courses. As regards the whole University of Milan, the amount of those students (18,3%) lays under the national average.
