Background: The primary objective of our correlational, cross-sectional study was to determine the relationship between fear of COVID-19 infection and fear of COVID-19 vaccination and the role of the Big Five personality traits in this relationship.
Participants And Procedure: The study sample consisted of 462 participants, including 286 women and 176 men, aged 18 to 75, recruited from the general population. The Big Five personality traits were diagnosed using the Polish version of the Ten-Item Personality Inventory.
The surface water pollution can cause serious ecological disasters. An example is large-scale fish deaths due to excessive salinity, which is global problem. In order to prevent such situations, it is necessary to carry out regular monitoring of both main rivers and their tributaries.

While it typically begins in childhood, research on its characteristics in this population is limited. We assessed 90 children aged 7-18 with and without misophonia, along with their mothers, using interviews, questionnaires, and performance-based tests.

This study was a continuation of our investigation of the spatio-temporal variability of the Bzura River's water chemistry. Our research is of particular importance in the context of the recent ecological disaster on the Oder River and concerns the international problem of surface water contamination. The study area was a 120 km section of the Bzura River.

Open cell design technology of self-expandable stents, dedicated for carotid revascularisation has better deliverability, although closed cell technology is expected to cause fewer thromboembolic events.
Aim: To evaluate the feasibility and vascular response of novel, hybrid cell, self-expandable nitinol stents (MER®, Balton, Poland) implanted into porcine carotid arteries.
Rationale: Interstrain differences in the motivational properties of morphine and heroin have been previously reported in mice, suggesting the involvement of a genotype-dependent modulation of the rewarding effects of opiates. Yet, interstrain differences in the motivational effects of naloxone have not been described.
Objectives: The aim of our study was to examine genotype modulation of the motivational effects of opiates in inbred stains of mice with known, distinct, opiate-induced phenotypes, and morphine-induced striatal transcriptional responses.
