Purpose: To assess visual outcomes of the implantation of a non-diffractive extended depth of focus (EDOF) intraocular lens (IOL) in patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Setting: Ophthalmology practice, Sydney, Australia.
Design: Retrospective chart review.
Purpose: To determine the intraocular and systemic risk factor differences between a cohort of rapid glaucoma disease progressors and nonrapid disease progressors.
Design: Retrospective case-control study.
Methods: Setting: Five private ophthalmology clinics.
Purpose: To investigate the mechanism underlying hyperopic orthokeratology (OK) by comparing the short-term clinical effect of lenses before and after central lens fenestration.
Methods: Twelve subjects (age 21 to 24 years) were fitted with rigid hyperopic OK lenses (BE Enterprises/Capricornia) in one eye only. The fellow eye acted as a non-lens wearing control.
