To improve health outcomes in people living with HIV, adoption of evidence-based interventions (EBIs) using effective and transferable implementation strategies to optimise the delivery of healthcare is needed. ViiV Healthcare's Positive Pathways initiative was established to support the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals. A compendium of EBIs was developed to address gaps within the HIV care continuum, yet it was unknown whether efforts existed to adapt and implement these EBIs across diverse clinical contexts.

Objective: We developed a system for the discovery of foodborne illness mentioned in online Yelp restaurant reviews using text classification. The system is used by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to monitor Yelp for foodborne illness complaints.

Materials And Methods: We built classifiers for 2 tasks: (1) determining if a review indicated a person experiencing foodborne illness and (2) determining if a review indicated multiple people experiencing foodborne illness.

Planned relaparotomy is a technique in which two or more surgeries are planned before or during the initial surgery. Two dogs underwent planned relaparotomy for severe peritonitis secondary to gastric ulceration and linear foreign body. Both dogs had good outcomes, and unnecessary procedures that would likely have led to increased morbidity were avoided.
