- Pure methoxyfuranocoumarins were successfully isolated from Ammi majus L. using low-pressure column chromatography (LPCC) and centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC) techniques.
- Xanthotoxin (8-MOP) and isopimpinellin (isoP) were identified in the same fraction, and their separation was optimized to improve efficiency compared to traditional methods like thin-layer chromatography (TLC).
- The CPC method achieved high purity levels of 98.7% for 8-MOP and 100% for isoP, allowing for further biological study applications of these compounds.
