Primary cardiac angiosarcomas are extremely rare, highly aggressive tumours with rapid progression and high metastatic capability. More than 60% of tumours are detected after the onset of a metastatic disease. In the two cases presented, we demonstrate the role of muti-modality imaging in the diagnosis of the lesion and provide valuable input in prognosticating the disease burden.

Over the past decade, experimental evidence has revealed the activation of several immune cells and signaling cascades in modulating the pathophysiology of PsA. Recently, targeted therapies have been developed to combat the severity of disease.

However, there is a significant gap in the literature regarding the application of simulation-based modalities in respiratory care education. This review aims to address this gap by providing insight into the theory and current uses of simulation, its effectiveness in respiratory care education, and strategies to enhance faculty development.

The current study investigated the molecular basis of myricetin, a flavonoid that impedes IL-21-mediated differentiation of Tfh cells in RA. Through high-throughput virtual screening of natural compounds that inhibit IL-21, we found that myricetin binds to IL-21 and hampers its interaction with IL-21 receptor (IL-21R).

Methods: The study included two groups.
The synovial intimal lining is mainly governed by fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS), which portray a transformed tumor-like phenotype in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Among the diverse cytokines that engender FLS, interleukin-21 (IL-21) was reported to stimulate hyperproliferation and perpetuate inflammation. Recently, choline kinase (ChoKα) has been reported to be an essential enzyme aiding RA-FLS hyperproliferation by altering phosphatidylcholine biosynthesis.

When common causes of thrombocytopenia have been ruled out and less common causes, such as thrombotic microangiopathic conditions, have been considered, it is important to keep in mind that patients undergoing dialysis may develop thrombocytopenia from the dialyzer itself.

PD is non-curative and gradually reduces quality of life, leading patients to seek treatment for symptom management. Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) applies the biomechanical, neurologic, circulatory, metabolic, and psychosocial models in approaching and treating the major symptomatology of PD patients.
