Objective: Quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG) is a non-invasive, reliable and easily accessible modality to assess neuronal activity. QEEG in acute stroke may predict short and long-term functional outcomes. The role of individual indices has not been studied in a meta-analysis.

Background And Aims: Spinal anesthesia is a technique widely used for gynecological, lower abdominal, pelvic and lower limb procedures. Even though it causes a profound nerve block, it is associated with profound hypotension.

Aims Of The Study: To assess the effect of the speed of injection of heavy bupivacaine on quality of block and hemodynamic changes in patients undergoing gynecological surgeries under spinal anesthesia.

Purpose: To evaluate the preoperative risk factors, complications, and postoperative outcomes following regraft with the large-sized donor for failed therapeutic grafts.

Methods: In this retrospective interventional case series, patients who underwent optical penetrating keratoplasty for failed therapeutic keratoplasty (TPK) from 2010 till 2019 were studied at the Cornea clinic, Tertiary eye care center, with a maximum follow-up period of 3 years within the study period. Demographic patterns, preoperative risk factors, graft survival, visual outcomes, and complications were reviewed from the electronic medical records.

Pilomatrix carcinoma of the right postauricular region: A case report and literature review.

Introduction: Pilomatrix carcinoma is a rare aggressive tumor with a high rate of local recurrence after surgical excision. Diagnosis is made by histopathology and when discovered, wide local excision has been shown to have the best results.

Presentation Of Case: We report a case of a 74-year-old male incidentally found to have a large right postauricular mass and regional lymphadenopathy.

The effects of Malaysian propolis and Brazilian red propolis on connective tissue fibroblasts in the wound healing process.

Background: To evaluate and compare the effects of ethanolic extracts of Malaysian propolis and Brazilian red propolis at different concentrations on the migration and proliferation of fibroblast cells.

Methods: Malaysian and Brazilian red propolis crude samples were extracted using ethanol. Their wound healing effects were tested in vitro on the normal human fibroblast cell line CRL-7522.
