Assessment of clinical outcomes in patients with inflammatory arthritis: analysis from the UK Medical Cannabis Registry.

The aim of this study was to assess changes in validated patient-reported outcome measures after initiation of cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs) and the safety of CBMPs in patients with inflammatory arthritis. A prospective case series from the UK Medical Cannabis Registry was analyzed. The primary outcomes changes were in Brief Pain Inventory, McGill Pain Questionnaire, EuroQol 5-dimension 5-level (EQ-5D-5L), Generalised Anxiety Disorder-7 questionnaire, and Single-Item Sleep Quality Scale at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months of follow-up compared with baseline.

Pharmacophoric analogs of sotorasib-entrapped KRAS G12C in its inactive GDP-bound conformation: covalent docking and molecular dynamics investigations.

For decades, KRAS G12C was considered an undruggable target. However, in recent times, a covalent inhibitor known as sotorasib was discovered and approved for the treatment of patients with KRAS G12C-driven cancers. Ever since the discovery of this drug, several preclinical efforts have focused on identifying novel therapeutic candidates that could act as covalent binders of KRAS G12C.

Provider and patient insights into the cancer care journey.

Objectives: To assess provider and patient preferences for an oncologist selection tool, value-based care, involvement in cancer care, and end-of-life planning.

Study Design: We conducted a cross-sectional survey of primary care providers (PCPs) and insured patients with cancer.

Methods: We asked PCPs about their method of oncologist referral; utilization of an oncologist selection tool that directs patients to high-quality, high-value oncologists; involvement in cancer care and value-based care; and when an advance directive should be established.
