Endometrial carcinoma (EC) morbidity and mortality have been increasing in recent years. Otubain 2 (OTUB2) was shown to be upregulated in EC patients, so the aim of this study was to explore the role of OTUB2 in EC. Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), colony formation, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, the wound healing assay, and Transwell invasion assays were used to investigate the specific role of OTUB2 in EC tumorigenesis.

Ovarian cancer ranks as a lethal gynecological malignancy, and development of resistance to chemotherapy agents constitutes a major clinical challenge in ovarian carcinoma management. P53-associated cellular protein-testes derived (PACT) is recently proven to be expressed aberrantly in several cancers, and exerts a critical roles in cell proliferation, apoptosis and migration. Up to now, its function in chemoresistance of ovarian cancer remains poorly defined.

Objective: To screen the differentially expressed genes in human renal clear-cell carcinoma (RCC) cells using suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH), and to explore their biological function and underlying mechanism in RCC cells.

Methods: Total RNAs were extracted from human renal clear-cell carcinoma cell line RLC-310 and human normal renal cell line HK-2 cells, and SSH technology was used to construct a RCC cell library of differential expression genes and to screen the most differentially expressed genes. RNA interference vector was constructed to silence the expression of the differentially expressed gene SIPL1 in human renal cell lines RLC-310 and GRC-1.

Background And Objective: Ovarian cancer is one of the most common causes of death among gynecological malignancies. This study was to investigate the prognostic factors for ovarian cancer using the Cox regression model.

Methods: Data of 103 patients, initially operated at Shaanxi Tumor Hospital from 1999 to 2004, were retrospectively analyzed.
