This study investigated whether and how medication reviews (MRs) conducted by pharmacists and general practitioners (GPs) with patient involvement can be performed on the island of Aruba (Dutch Caribbean). In this mixed-methods pilot study (both qualitative and quantitative), constructive and observational methodologies were combined. Healthcare providers' and patients' views on MRs and aspects of Aruban healthcare and culture relevant to MRs were examined.

This position paper aims to increase awareness among primary care practitioners and policymakers about the specific and complex health needs of people who experience incarceration. We focus on the importance of primary care and of continuity of care between prison and community. We highlight what is known from the literature on the health of people who experience incarceration, on the organisation of prison health care, and on the role of primary care both during and after detention.

Introduction: An estimated 12% of tuberculosis (TB) patients are co-infected with HIV in the World Health Organization European Region (the Region). Reducing morbidity and mortality from HIV-associated TB requires strong collaboration between TB and HIV services at all levels with integrated people-centred models of care.

Methods: We collected information on the current models of integration of TB and HIV services in the Region a comprehensive survey among the TB and HIV National Focal Points, and identified challenges and opportunities.
