Organophosphates constitute a major class of pesticides widely employed in agriculture to manage insect pests. Their toxicity is attributed to their ability to inhibit the functioning of acetylcholinesterase (AChE), an essential enzyme for normal nerve transmission. Organophosphates, especially chlorpyrifos, have been a key component of the integrated pest management (IPM) in onions, effectively controlling onion maggot , a severe pest of onions.

Whole genome sequences of 17 accessions belonging to 14 species were retrieved from GenBank and the genome-wide microsatellites in each species were mined. A total of 51,200 microsatellites, including dinucleotide to decanucleotide motifs, have been identified across all the species and each one was characterized for uniqueness and repeat number.

The synergistic effect of the AS/VS ratio on functionalization-assisted intercalation of Kaol was established in 1:3AS/VS-Kaol by the greater extent of formation of higher interlayer spacing corresponding to 1.12 nm compared to 1:1AS/VS-Kaol.

Objective: The aim of the study was to assess the menopause-related symptoms and their impact on the women's life.
Nanotechnology involving cellulosic substrates has generated a great attention owing to their exceptional physical and chemical properties. Self-assembled nanostructures obtained from carbohydrate polymers are of interest in the biomedical field for the biocompatibility and non-toxic nature. In the present study modification of nano-fibrillated cellulose (NFC) synthesised from the husk fibers of Areca catechu nuts (AHF) was studied by controlled regio-selective amidation with oleylamine (OA) and characterized.

Introduction: Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) are now regarded as a fundamental measure of therapeutic success. Patient's opinion regarding the impact of disease and its treatment is assessed using scales such as Oral Health Related Quality Of Life (OHRQoL) tools. Patient centred outcome assessment is now being considered as a primary outcome measure in clinical trials.

It exists in different organisms including bacteria, plants, and animals and plays a crucial role in humans by regulating neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system. It is directly responsible for the regulation of muscle tone and also effective in lowering stress, blood pressure, and hypertension.

This species is used in tribal medicines and has immense bioprospective potential. With a view to generate suitable genomic markers for classification and identification, we have generated RAPD, SCAR and conserved 18S rDNA markers from K.

Studies evaluating drug related hospitalization have estimated that approximately 5-10% of all hospital admissions are drug related. The present study was carried out to investigate type, nature and incidence of drug related admissions in our hospital settings.

Overall sustained release for 24 h was achieved by preparing a double-layer tablet in which the immediate release layer was formulated for a prompt release of the drug and the sustained release layer was designed to achieve a prolonged release of drug. The preformulation studies like IR spectroscopic and differential scanning calorimetry showed the absence of drug-excipient interactions.
