Introduction: Elsberg syndrome is an uncommon cause of lumbosacral radiculitis that presents as a constellation of symptoms, including urinary retention, bowel incontinence, severe constipation, impotence, and saddle anesthesia.
Case Presentation: A 32-year-old female presented to the emergency department with complaints of bilateral leg pain and urinary retention. Two weeks prior, she noticed new genital lesions and had a positive nucleic acid amplification test for herpes simplex virus (HSV) type 2.
The role of cities and regions is becoming increasingly crucial in the process of global localization. As vital carriers of urban activities, public spaces are receiving widespread attention; however, the substantial impact of multidimensional experiences of public cultural spaces on urban tourism and the role of cultural identity within these spaces have yet to be extensively studied. This study establishes a framework based on scenescape and stimulus-organism-response theories to explore how external stimuli influence tourists' behavioral intentions.

He was subsequently found to have a large left-sided pleural effusion with empyema secondary to . With the emerging threat and growing prevalence of group pathogens, there is now greater clinical importance in identifying viridans streptococci at the species level.

A retrospective study was conducted on sterile women with ovarian endometriomas (OMAs), including patients who underwent laparoscopic cystectomy ( = 224, 224 IVF/ICSI cycles, 205 FET cycles) and aspiration ( = 139, 139 IVF/ICSI cycles, 148 FET cycles); peritoneal EMS ( = 96, 96 IVF/ICSI cycles, 89 FET cycles); and tubal factors ( = 360, 360 IVF/ICSI cycles, 474 FET cycles). Our main outcomes included the number of MII oocytes retrieved, fertilization rate, the number of viable embryos, viable embryo rate per oocyte retrieved in oocyte retrieval cycles, and clinical pregnancy rate per transfer, live birth rate per transfer, and cumulative clinical pregnancy rate of this oocyte retrieval cycle in FET cycles.

FF samples were obtained from 25 patients (EMS group, = 15; control group, = 10) to screen the differential proteins by using iTRAQ Labeling and 2D LC-MS. Transferrin (TRF) in was found significantly decreased in EMS group, which was verified using ELISA in enlarged FF samples (EMS group, = 31; control group, = 27).
