We report here the whole-genome sequence of six clinical isolates of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09, isolated from Kerala, India. Amino acid analysis of all gene segments from the A(H1N1)pdm09 isolates obtained in 2014 and 2015 identified several new mutations compared to the 2009 A(H1N1) pandemic strain.

Interspecific Interactions Among Members of Family Halobacteriaceae from Natural Solar Salterns.

Solar salterns are crystallizer ponds with highly diverse extremophilic microbial flora living individually or in consortium. Twenty-four culturable haloarchaeal isolates were obtained from solar salterns of Goa, which were grouped under Halococcus, Haloferax, Haloarcula and Halorubrum. Cell-free supernatants of different isolates were checked against each other by pour plate technique combined with agar well diffusion method.

Here, we report a rare and unusual case of recurrent PRES in a young adult sickle cell patient without any obvious precipitating factors.

We report the successful use of a spinal cord stimulator to treat vulvodynia symptoms in a patient who had unsuccessful prior conservative therapies.
