We report the design, synthesis, and validation of carboxamide-based pyrazole and isoxazole conjugates with a multifaceted activity against Breast Cancer Cell Line MDA-MB-231. The study established that amongst the series, N-(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzyl)-3-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide (5g) exhibits the highest potency in inhibiting Breast Cancer Cell Line MDA-MB-231 with an IC value of 15.08 ± 0.

This research delves into the presence of MPs in the water, sediment, fish, and shellfish of Ashtamudi Lake, a Ramsar wetland with brackish water located on the southwest coast of India. Given the lake's significance in supporting the livelihoods of numerous fishers and acting as a vital source of fishery resources for both local consumption and export, examining the contamination of the system by MPs becomes particularly pertinent.

Irradiated aqueous solutions of Pluronic F-127, Pluronic L-35, Tween 20, and Tween 80 surfactants were used. Gamma irradiation was carried out for three different doses, to these four surfactants viz.

These systematic manifestations under Pb exposure and the underlying probable pathophysiological mechanisms have not been elucidated completely. With advancements in molecular research under Pb exposure, epigenetics is one of the emerging field that has opened many possibilities for appreciating the role of Pb exposure in modulating gene expression profiles.

The critical micellar concentration (CMC) of CPB is estimated through conductivity experiments and found to be reduced on adding MHCl and further decreased in the presence of NaCl. The reduced CMC is attributed to the solubilization of MHCl by CPB through micellization and the micellization is found to be thermodynamically spontaneous that experiences an augmentation in the presence of NaCl.

QCT is known to undergo autoxidation in many chemical environments which has different characteristics compared to its non-oxidised structure. In this experiment, two ionic surfactants used.

This cross-sectional study aimed to evaluate the infection surveillance, emergency treatment, economic setbacks, and stress endured by periodontists of South India during COVID-19.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from March to July 2021 among periodontists in South India.
Viscoelastic effects are known to influence pattern formation during phase separation in dynamically asymmetric mixtures. Evidence is shown for such an effect in some binary mixtures composed of liquid crystals made of rod-like (R) and bent-core (BC) molecules. The difference in dynamics at phase separation manifests itself in the form of cellular structures (CSs).

Background: India's current estimated doctor-population ratio of 1:1700 against targeted ratio of 1: 1000 shows a clear shortage. A mismatch in number of medical aspirants and available seats, intense competition and unaffordable costs of medical education prompt many Indian students to pursue training opportunities abroad. Many later return to India, and these foreign medical graduates (FMGs) must pass a qualification test which is a required to practice medicine in India.

The SN2 substitution reaction at the anomeric center of Hoffer's chlorosugar with various 5-substituted aromatic tetrazoles in THF in presence of K2CO3 proceeds with regioselectivity at N2-tetrazoles and stereoselectivity at α-chlorosugar with very good yield. The stereoelectronic and steric effects play a crucial role for the observed outcome which is also supported from a theoretical (DFT) study.

However, its widespread use has not been possible due to the inherent limitations, like presence of obscuring blood and inflammation, reducing its sensitivity considerably. Automated methods in use in developed countries may not be affordable in the developing countries due to paucity of resources.

The c-Jun transcription factor was strongly activated by LM-1 during neurite induction. Suppression of c-Jun inhibited the expression of the c-Jun target genes α6 integrin and neurofilament-L, resulting in the loss of neurite outgrowth.
