Purpose: Real-world evidence (RWE)-derived from analysis of real-world data (RWD)-has the potential to guide personalized treatment decisions. However, because of potential confounding, generating valid RWE is challenging. This study demonstrates how to responsibly generate RWE for treatment decisions.
