Microglandular adenosis of the breast is an uncommon lesion which can mimic tubular carcinoma. It is composed of small round tubules lined by a single layer of flat or cuboidal epithelial cells, often with eosinophilic colloid-like material within the lumen. The absence of a myoepithelial cell layer and preservation of basement membrane around the tubules are characteristic features.

The aim of this study was to determine whether tumor size (TS) is an independent prognostic indicator of survival and a better predictor than depth (%) of myometrial invasion, in stage I endometrioid endometrial cancer.
Methods: This was a retrospective study of all women with International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage I endometrioid endometrial carcinoma from January 2000 to December 2007, who had surgery at the Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre.
We report 2 cases of papillary cystadenoma, a rare neoplasm characteristic of patients with Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease, involving the pelvic soft tissues of women and probably arising within the broad ligament. In only one of the women was there a history of VHL disease. The other woman was investigated for VHL disease after the diagnosis of papillary cystadenoma and all tests were negative.
