ACL avulsion fractures often require surgery, and this study evaluates the effectiveness of the arthroscopic suture pull-out technique while exploring how surgical timing affects recovery outcomes.
Conducted with 17 patients aged 21 to 41, the study categorized participants based on surgery timing (one to three weeks post-injury) and assessed functional recovery using various scoring systems over 14 months.
Results showed significant improvements in knee function for all groups, with no significant differences based on the timing of surgery, suggesting that delays within three weeks do not negatively impact patient outcomes.
