Abiotic stresses arising as consequences of climate change pose a serious threat to agricultural productivity on a global scale. Most cultivated crop varieties exhibit susceptibility to such environmental pressures as drought, salinity, and waterlogging. Addressing these abiotic stresses through agronomic means is not only financially burdensome but also often impractical, particularly in the case of abiotic stresses like heat stress.

Because gas adsorption can cause a temperature increase in the MOF, which decreases the capacity and adsorption rate, a strict evaluation of its effect on the thermal conductivity of MOFs is essential. In this study, the thermal conductivity measurement of the MOF under water vapor adsorption was performed using an oriented film of copper tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin (Cu-TCPP) MOF.

Dolichos bean is one of the most important vegetable legume crops owing to its nutrient-rich green pods used as vegetables. Limitations in genomic resources, including molecular markers, restrict the accelerated improvement of the crop.

We made a detailed analysis of various component traits with the aim of deriving optimized parameters for measuring culm strength. Genotyping by sequencing (GBS)-based genome-wide association study (GWAS) was employed among 181 genotypes for dissecting the genetic control of culm strength traits.

Therefore, to identify stable genotype for yield, 18 genotypes were tested in four environments for nut yield and ancillary traits during 2008 to 2018 in randomized block design with two replications. The data of 6th annual harvest and cumulative nut yield of six years was analyzed employing additive main effect and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) and genotype and genotype by environment (GGE) methods.

Three-dimensional (3D) volume acquisition has the advantage of multiplanar reformation of contiguous slices yielding improved signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) and contrast-to-noise ratios (CNRs). To our knowledge, there are only three studies comparing 3D- and 2D-FLAIR sequences with respect to multiple sclerosis (MS) lesions at 3 tesla.

To test this hypothesis, a set of candidate gene-based markers for yield and grain traits-related genes cloned across the rice genome were custom-designed. A multi-model, multi-locus genome-wide association study (GWAS) was performed using new genic markers developed to test their effectiveness for gene discovery.

Artificial low-PA mutants with impaired PA biosynthesis have been developed in rice through induced mutagenesis. However, low-PA mutant stocks with drastically reduced grain PA content have poor breeding potential, and their use in rice breeding is restricted due to their detrimental pleiotropic effects, which include decreased seed viability, low grain weight, and low seed yield.

Thus, the identification of a consistent consensus QTL region across populations is critical to deploy in marker aided breeding programs. Using the QTL meta-analysis technique, we collated rice grain weight QTL information from numerous studies done across populations and in diverse environments to find constitutive QTL for grain weight.
