Rhabdoid tumors of extrarenal origin are uncommon. This is the first report of rhabdoid tumor presenting as a perineal mass. Furthermore, it is a disease of childhood, with adult presentation being rare.

We present a case of massive ALA presenting with jaundice, hepatic encephalopathy, and septicaemia that was treated successfully with percutaneous drainage of the abscess, right-sided chest tube insertion, and anti-amoebic therapy.
