This study analyzed 2102 conjunctival lesions excised between 1981 and 2003 at a single tertiary center in Serbia, with the aim of evaluating their histopathological characteristics, anatomical localization, and demographic distribution. Of the total cases recorded, 55.1% were male, indicating a slight male predominance.

Methods: In this prospective comparative study, 30 primary open-angle patients and 30 healthy subjects filled in the questionnaire on symptoms (Ocular Surface Disease Index) and subjective stinging feeling scale (1-10), at the start of study and 30 days after continuous use of refrigerated fixed combination or placebo eye drops.
Introduction: Iris melanocytoma (IM) is a rare benign tumor, but unavoidable in differential diagnosis of pigmented iris lesions. According to the best knowledge of the authors it is for the first time in Serbia that a well-documented case of IM is presented and that the problem of this tumor is discussed.
Case Outline: In the left eye of a 47-year-old white female at the iris in a six o'clock position, a highly pigmented, dome shaped lesion with a crater-like cavity in the center and with feathery margins was noticed.
Introduction: Conjunctival metastasis is exceedingly rare, and it is, as a rule, a sign of advanced malignant disease with poor prognosis. We presented a female patient with breast cancer metastasis to the conjunctiva.
Case Report: A 45-year-old premenopausal female patient was presented with a solitary, yellowish, thin, demarcated lesion in the superior nasal quadrant of the bulbar conjunctiva of the left eye noted by chance a week earlier.
Purpose: The analysis of ten unusual eye injuries, and the discussion of appropriate preventive measures.
Case Outline: Ten patients hospitalized at the Clinic of Eye Diseases, Clinical Center of Serbia, Belgrade, in the period from January 2000. to December 2009.

Methodology: The study was performed in 15 controls (C), 10 patients with acute cholecystitis (AC), 20 patients with chronic acalculous cholecystitis (CAC), 26 patients with chronic cholecystitis with calculosis (CCC) as well as in 15 patients with GB dyskinesia (D). GB emptying period (EP), ejection fraction (EF) and ejection rate (ER) were estimated with dynamic cholescintigraphy (DC) and US.
Introduction: The study describes ocular injuries caused by airsoft guns pellets, type of these injuries and their incidence in different age groups.
Methods: This is a retrospective review of medical charts of patients who were hospitalized due to airsoft guns ocular injuries in ten-year period (from 2000 to 2009). Patient's age, gender, duration of hospitalization, type of treatment and initial and final visual acuity were analyzed.
Aim: To assess the clinical role of monoclonal immunoscintigraphy for the detection of metastasis and recurrence of colorectal cancer.
Methods: Monoclonal immunoscintigraphy was performed in patients operated on for colorectal adenocarcinoma suspected of local recurrence and metastatic disease. The results were compared with conventional diagnostics.
Background: The usual way of dissemination of an uveal malignant melanoma comprises hematogenous metastases to various organs, liver in the first place. Uncommon development of the disease is always possible, while unusual ways of dissemination and secondary deposits in the unexpected sites have been observed. We presented an unusual case of a patient with uveal melanoma metastatic to the contralateral eyelid with very fast further dissemination in the manner typical for primary malignancies.
