Phytotoxic and nematicide evaluation of Croton ehrenbergii (Euphorbiaceae).

Background: Within its natural habitat, Croton ehrenbergii exhibits an innate defense mechanism that is not seen in other plants; it grows unharmed amidst predators and nature, while other species perish. In light of its capacity for defense, C. ehrenbergii was evaluated to better understand the scope of its phytotoxic and nematicide properties.
