Objectives: to improve an instrument that measures postpartum women's satisfaction with obstetric care.
Methods: action research, developed from a preliminary version of an instrument prepared by nurse-midwives working in public services in the Federal District. The analysis of the results of application of instrument carried out in a pilot test, analysis of evidence of instrument validity, literature review, focus group with the instrument's developers and interview with the target audience were carried out.
Objective: to identify the profile of psychosocial stressors, wellbeing at work and coping in prehospital care workers and its distinctions in relation to gender.
Methods: cross-sectional quantitative study with workers from public prehospital care. A sociodemographic instrument, the Psychosocial Stressors in the Labor Context Scale, the Inventory of Welfare at Work and the Occupational Coping Scale, were applied.
Objective: To measure the levels of depression among Nursing students from a public institution of higher education and the association with aspects of academic life.
Method: Analytical and quantitative study with 203 students from a higher education institution that uses active methodologies. We used Beck's Depression Inventory and the Likert type scale of academic factors.
Women presenting with advanced breast cancer tumors are common in Brazil. Little is known about factors contributing to the delay in seeking care. The aim of this study was to identify factors associated with longer time intervals between the onset of breast cancer symptoms and the first medical visit in the Federal District, Brazil.

Purpose: To analyze the time between the first symptom and treatment in patients treated for breast cancer in public hospitals in the Federal District.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional analysis. We interviewed 250 women diagnosed with breast cancer treated in six hospitals of the State Department of Health of the Federal District from November 2009 to January 2011.
