Purpose: To analyze the upper eyelid contour after Müller's muscle conjunctiva resection (MMCR) performed by four different surgeons.
Methods: Comparative cross-sectional analysis of the pre- and postoperative contours of a control group and four groups of upper lids (n = 88) of 65 patients who underwent MMCR at four international centers. The procedure employed was essentially the same as described by Putterman but performed with different instruments to entrap the posterior lamella.
Purpose: To assess the success rate and complications of Lacrijet monocanalicular stent (FCI S.A.S, Paris, France) intubation in children treated for congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction (CNLDO).

However, the outcomes of endoscopic-assisted probing for the treatment of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction with adjunctive mitomycin C in children remain unknown. Our study was aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of adjunctive application of mitomycin C after endoscopic-assisted probing for the treatment of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction in children.

Methods: This retrospective study included children 48 months and older with CNLDO who underwent endoscopic-assisted probing or conventional probing between January 2011 to August 2015 at a tertiary eye care hospital in central Saudi Arabia. Probing was considered successful when signals of tearing or discharge disappeared and fluorescein dye disappearance test (FDDT) was normal.

Purpose: Blow-out fractures cause expansion of the bony orbital walls and prolapse of orbital contents in the sinuses. This can result in diplopia, enophthalmos, and hypoglobus. Early surgical repair has been previously recommended, however, recent reports show that delayed surgery can also be effective.

Purpose: To evaluate the long-term efficacy of silicone intubation in adults with presumed functional nasolacrimal duct obstruction.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study reviewed adults with unilateral or bilateral epiphora and presumed functional nasolacrimal duct obstruction treated with silicone intubation and followed for signs of treatment failure (defined as persistent epiphora or need for a secondary procedure). Median time to event (failure) after silicone intubation was calculated using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis.
Purpose: To determine the outcome and safety of nonlaser endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy (NLEN-DCR) with the use of adjunctive mitomycin C (MMC) in congenital, traumatic, and primary acquired nasolacrimal duct obstruction in adults.
Design: Retrospective, nonrandomized, noncomparative, case series.
Participants: One hundred ninety-three consecutive adult patients underwent NLEN-DCR with the use of adjunctive MMC.

Purpose: To determine the outcome and safety of pediatric endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy with the use of adjunctive mitomycin C.
Methods: A prospective, nonrandomized and noncomparative interventional case series study was performed in 71 consecutive procedures. Sixty patients 16 years of age and younger underwent nonlaser endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy with the use of adjunctive mitomycin C.
