Introduction: The use of infliximab to treat Crohn's disease patients has been evaluated for decades. The current work aimed to identify the historical roots of this research topic.
Methods: The literature database Web of Science Core Collection was searched to identify relevant papers.
Objectives: Modified Dental Anxiety Scale (MDAS) is a frequently used psychometric tool to evaluate the dental anxiety level of dental patients or the general population. However, it was largely unclear if MDAS was consistently administered in the original format in the academic literature. This work aimed to survey the literature published in the last 10 years to reveal the current usage of MDAS.

The technical report "Implementation errors in the GingerALE Software: description and recommendations" by Eickhoff et al. (2017) documented these errors and their corresponding fixes.

In 2009, Lieberman and Cunningham published a highly cited report that promotes the use of uncorrected statistical thresholds to balance Types I and II error rates. This paper aims to review recent studies that cited this report, investigating whether the citations were to justify the use of uncorrected statistical thresholds, and if their uncorrected thresholds adhered to the recommended defaults.

However, radiographic examination unavoidably involves ionizing radiation and its associated risks. Clinicians and researchers have invested considerable efforts in assessing the feasibility and capability of utilizing nonionizing imaging modalities to replace traditional radiographic imaging.

Objectives: This review aims to present an overview of impactful publications, authors, institutions, journals, countries, fields of application and trends of FCC in the 21 century as well as suggestions on further research.
Methods: The Web of Science Database was searched for publications on FCC between January 2000 and Dezember 2023.
Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and dental anxiety among Chinese adults in Hong Kong.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted at a university in Hong Kong. The recruiting period and data collection started in January 2023 and ended in June 2023.
Objectives: The rapidly ageing world has placed considerable demands on health and social care. To address this, the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations (UN) have declared action for this decade (2021-2030) to promote healthy ageing. Operationalisation of successful ageing in the oral health context in terms of its dimensions and their interconnectedness was determined.

The aim of this study was a bibliometric analysis of the use of digital technologies to prevent adverse drug reactions and an overview of their main applications to improve the safety of pharmacotherapy. The search was conducted using the Web of Science database for the period 1991-2023.

By analysing the top 100 most-cited RCT reports in orthodontics, this study aimed to determine popular research topics, key authors, countries, journals, and their impacts.
Methods: A comprehensive search was performed in the Web of Science (WoS) electronic database to identify the top 100 most-cited RCT reports in orthodontics.
Many papers used the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) as the data source. The work by Liu (2019, Scientometrics) revealed that only 48 % of such papers published in information science and library science journals during 2017-2018 specified which sub-datasets they used, and subsequently urged researchers to provide such information together with the corresponding coverage timespans to improve transparency and reproducibility. This work revisited this issue to reveal if the current condition has improved following Liu's recommendations.

Methods: Electronic searches were conducted in PubMed focusing on the question 'when (and why) do we need diagnostic imaging in implant dentistry?' The search results were summarised to identify different applications of digital diagnostic imaging in implant dentistry.
The accurate screening of osteoporosis is important for identifying persons at risk. The diagnosis of bone conditions using dual X-ray absorptiometry is limited to extracting areal bone mineral density (BMD) and fails to provide any structural information. Computed tomography (CT) is excellent for morphological imaging but not ideal for material quantification.
