Initial Multicenter Experience With the New Castor Arch Branched Device in Europe: A Middle-term Results Study.

Background: Published reports demonstrate that the use of Castor stent-graft is a promising treatment of aortic pathologies with the need to land in zone 2. However, there is a lack of publications on the medium-term results of Castor in the European population. This research evaluates the mid-term results of the Castor stent-graft in several Polish centers for the treatment of aortic pathologies and enriches the current knowledge of Castor stent-grafts.

Short-term outcomes of endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm, including ruptured cases.

Introduction: Endovascular aneurysm repair as a minimally invasive alternative has become a commonly used surgical method for treating patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).

Aim: To analyze short-term outcomes of endovascular treatment of AAA patients, including ruptured cases.

Material And Methods: From 2010 to 2015, 247 patients with AAA were treated using the endovascular aneurysm repair technique.

[Risk factors of early recurrence after surgical treatment in Graves disease].

To determine the factors causing early recurrence after surgery for Graves disease, I've studied 81 patients who underwent subtotal thyroidectomy. Thyroid functional status was evaluated biochemically every 3 months. After one year the patients were divided into 3 categories: recurrent hyperthyroidism, euthyroidism and hypothyroidism.
